A Market-leading multinational company producing electrical engineering products in Europe is looking for a Key Account Manager. Our client is on the look for a proactive sales professional who will add value to their business and play an essential role in their rapid growth and development.
What you'll do:
Management and processing of the entire sales process (technical and commercial) from acquisition to customer offer, driving implementation to sustainable support.
The support of existing key accounts globally and their expansion on current portfolio or with new products.
Develop business relationships in accordance with the company's strategic goals with focus on your key accounts and new leads.
Development of future product solutions and applications in cooperation with the customer and internally with the Industrial Engineering department (e.g.: special applications in the field of e-machines).
Development of a sustainable network by identifying the right contact persons within complex customer organizations across all hierarchical levels.
Analyze customer and key markets in terms of price strategy, competitive situation, potential, portfolio, contribution margin, etc.
Play an active role in increasing the company's added value and reaching their strategic goals.
Manage and conduct contract and price negotiations in accordance with the company's spheres of competence.
Support strategic sales planning (on annual base) and reflect into SAP with all relevant data and timing.
Support definition and implementation of sales targets.
Being the interface between the customer and the individual departments of the company.
Represent the company at trade fairs, specialist conferences and other sales-promoting activities.
What sets you apart:
Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration/Industrial engineering/mechanical engineering.
Several years of experience in the sale of technical components (manufacturing industry)
Analytical skills and communication skills combined with a strong hunter-sales mentality.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Basic German would be preferred to exchange with the local team internally and with customers based in Europe and abroad.
Knowledge and skills of MS Office.
Experience in dealing with SAP & Outlook.
Commitment, ability to work in a team.
High degree of flexibility in terms of time and willingness to travel.
