A Market-leading multinational company producing electrical engineering products in Europe is looking for a Key Account Manager. Our client is on the look for a proactive sales professional who will add value to their business and play an essential role in their rapid growth and development.
What you'll do:
- Management and processing of the entire sales process (technical and commercial) from acquisition to customer offer, driving implementation to sustainable support.
- The support of existing key accounts globally and their expansion on current portfolio or with new products.
- Develop business relationships in accordance with the company's strategic goals with focus on your key accounts and new leads.
- Development of future product solutions and applications in cooperation with the customer and internally with the Industrial Engineering department (e.g.: special applications in the field of e-machines).
- Development of a sustainable network by identifying the right contact persons within complex customer organizations across all hierarchical levels.
- Analyze customer and key markets in terms of price strategy, competitive situation, potential, portfolio, contribution margin, etc.
- Play an active role in increasing the company's added value and reaching their strategic goals.
- Manage and conduct contract and price negotiations in accordance with the company's spheres of competence.
- Support strategic sales planning (on annual base) and reflect into SAP with all relevant data and timing.
- Support definition and implementation of sales targets.
- Being the interface between the customer and the individual departments of the company.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, specialist conferences and other sales-promoting activities.
What sets you apart:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration/Industrial engineering/mechanical engineering.
- Several years of experience in the sale of technical components (manufacturing industry)
- Analytical skills and communication skills combined with a strong hunter-sales mentality.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Basic German would be preferred to exchange with the local team internally and with customers based in Europe and abroad.
- Knowledge and skills of MS Office.
- Experience in dealing with SAP & Outlook.
- Commitment, ability to work in a team.
- High degree of flexibility in terms of time and willingness to travel.
