Our client is searching for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in their continued growth and success. The goal of this position is to establish a well-structured financial reporting system within the organization and to manage and oversee all financial processes. Initially, this will be a one-person operation with 0.5 FTE (office management) providing support. As the role progresses, the Finance Manager will have a financial assistant, and in the medium term, the Finance Manager will lead a team of four.

🔑 Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
- Develops and oversees internal financial reporting systems
- Establishes a financial approval system within the company
- Prepares detailed reports on the company’s financial performance
- Controls and monitors the financial activities of the company and recommends optimal solutions
- Recognizes patterns in company spending and revenue, and recommends solutions for any problem areas
- Actively coordinates with external accountants and banking contacts on behalf of the company, ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines
- Handles and oversees the company’s bank accounts, preparing transfers and invoices
- Collaborates with the sales department to create the yearly business plan
- Oversees the company's financial strategic planning by periodically evaluating its performance
- Logs, monitors, and controls accounts receivables, coordinating with clients when necessary
- Recommends cost-efficient and forward-thinking solutions to maximize the financial health of the company
- Collects relevant financial inputs from each department and reports to the owners
- Recommends employee benefit packages, such as cafeteria plans, to the owners
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Native Hungarian, good command of English
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role, including an ERP implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive and self-starting approach with ambition to help expand
- Good to have: due diligence and/or investment experience
- Familiarity with real estate finance and development is a plus
- Having HR experience is an advantage due to possible HR related tasks
