Our client is a global FMCG company with shared services in three locations. The group is known for its transparent communication, bottom up management style and feeding the world. They are now looking for a Manager Master Data.
The purpose of the role
As a Manager Master Data you will be the strategic leader responsible for defining and driving the vision and strategy for effective end-to-end data maintenance globally. This role encompasses complex long-term vision and issues on a corporate scale, focusing on cost savings, revenue improvements, and risk management. Reports to the Global Process Director Finance, Shared Services & Enterprise Risk Management.
The end responsible for the service of master data maintenance of shared data objects within the landscape of the single ERP platform (SAP).
Agree with the business functions on scope and added value for the organization.
Ownership of the MDM tooling and processes in close cooperation with all related business functions (internal customers) and drive One Way Of Working across the organization for Master Data maintenance as business service.
Manage the Global Enterprise Data team, with operational Data Stewards in the shared service locations and a capability pool with Data Advisors in The Netherlands, including budget responsibility.
Adherence to the agreed data rules, embedded in tooling and processes, timely response times and low costs, monitored by analytics on operational effectiveness and data quality.
Be the ambassador for data management throughout the organization, driving the concepts and desirability of central domain services in all functions.
Preferred work expereince
5+ years of master data (senior) management experience (preferably in more than 1 company)
Multi/cross-functional process experience/working
Significant influencing of external and internal stakeholders, often with conflicting views
Proficient in English (other languages a definite plus)
