We are representing a leading global mobility services provider, managing a fleet of over 12,500 vehicles across Central and Eastern Europe. Position: Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end accounting in line with applicable tax and balance sheet laws.
- Review and analyze balance sheet and profit & loss accounts, ensuring top-notch quality in direct tax reporting.
- Monitor accounting operations, identifying and reporting any irregularities.
- Prepare local financial statements, engage with external auditors, and provide high-quality audit documentation.
- Prepare tax declarations and reports, and collaborate with external institutions (US, GUS, NBP).
- Oversee bank transfers and postings of bank statements.
- Contribute to month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS.
- Stay updated on legislative changes, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Support implementation of new processes and IT solutions related to tax requirements and testing appropriate system changes (e.g. KSEF, JPK_CIT)
- Provide guidance and support to team members, driving continuous process optimization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Deep understanding of tax requirements, the Accounting Act, and IFRS regulations
- (S)he has ideally experience with the Exact Globe Next accounting system.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
- A high degree of conscientiousness, honesty, and commitment.
