About Our Client:
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing member of a prestigious international group with over a century of history, is a market leader in refrigerated vehicle rentals. As a family-owned business, they have built a strong client base, excellent supplier relationships, and a loyal workforce. Despite being a newer subsidiary in Hungary, they are poised for further growth and are seeking a dedicated Commercial Manager to join their team.
Job Activities:
- Manage domestic commercial activities, including visiting customers and potential customers, preparing and following up on quotes, and providing professional consultancy.
- Prepare and follow up on leads, discussing them with the Country Manager Hungary.
- Provide data to the company for the preparation of commercial plans and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with service pricing/margins according to company instructions.
- Engage in all marketing and advertising aspects of the Hungarian entity, such as co-operation on marketing materials, brochures, and internet presence.
- Analyze customer experiences and claims, discussing them with the line manager as appropriate.
- Focus on sales: 80% hunting for new business and 20% farming. Over time, the role will include managing existing key accounts.
- Spend a maximum of 2 days in the office, with the rest of the time in the field. The sales territory covers the entire country.
Profile Requirements:
- Good network amongst companies needing refrigerated vehicle services is strongly preferred.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally selling refrigerated solutions (LCVs, trucks, containers) or similar or other technical sales expertise, selling for the food or pharma industry.
- Good understanding of cold chain/refrigerated logistics.
- Technical affinity and familiarity with commercial vehicles.
- At least strong intermediate proficiency in English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Valid “B” category driving license.
- Resides within a 200 km radius of Budapest.
