Frido Cornelis Diepeveen
Founder/Managing Director – General managementMy name is Frido Diepeveen and I am the Dutch-Hungarian owner of Diepeveen&Partners. Having obtained a law degree in international and civil law (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), I started my career in 1998 as an in-house lawyer at the head office of Abn Amro Bank in Amsterdam. In 2001 I moved to Hungary, continuing my finance career at another Dutch financial institution, ING Bank. During this time, I had the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the Hungarian financial sector and to become fluent in the Hungarian language. After four years of back-office as well as front office positions, I found my true calling.
In 2005, I started a career in HR consulting and (executive) search. From 2005 to 2010, I co-owned and co-managed the recruitment firm ProfiPower that went on to become Hungary’s market leader in 2008. In 2010, the firm was sold to a listed company, which has since then become the world’s largest HR services company. After selling ProfiPower, for seven successful years, I continued as commercial director of the newly merged company. In 2018, I began to realize that many recruitment firms were taking advantage of the growing economy by offering barely good enough services to their clients and candidates. Something new was needed.
Talent pools were drying up and recruiters came and went at the large recruitment firms, lowering the standard of services. Clients were no longer getting the services they paid for if they got any service at all. I decided to return to core values by founding Diepeveen&Partners. The company offers innovative, high-quality services to a select group of dedicated clients, who have a clear vision of what they seek and why someone would be motivated to work for them. Our approach is validated daily by the growing number of great clients appreciative of the tailor-made services we provide.
