Service Manager - to lead service & workshop operation

The Group’s subsidiary in Hungary may be relatively new, but it's already building a strong client base, nurturing excellent supplier relationships, and fostering a loyal and growing workforce.
The purpose of the position
He/she will be responsible for leading daily operations, particularly the Workshop / Repair / Service Operations and helping the Country Manager to focus more on business development, rationalization and taking the company to the next level.

Leadership:
# Acts as a local relay/leader for the implementation of new processes (Group/ BU Transformation)
# Sets guidelines for workshop organization - in partnership with the workshop manager. Takes over from the workshop manager if necessary, like in case of absence
# Ensures with workshop teams that the necessary resources are deployed to meet service commitments to customers
Fleet Management/ Workshop:
# Ensures fleet compliance (Quality, Image, Compliance with preventive maintenance plans, recall campaigns & mandatory inspections)
# Schedules workshop tasks (in partnership with the workshop manager) - daily/weekly/monthly schedule
# Contact our subcontractors/external partners in the case of outsourcing (follow up cases, and challenge our suppliers)
# Establishes the entity's fleet plan (analysis of resources vs. needs & adjustments - fleet optimization)
# Establishes the entity's rental plan to maximize resource utilization and sales.
# Challenges teams on a daily and weekly basis regarding vehicles immobilized (workshop, or not leased)
# Ensures the quality of new vehicles (reports anomalies) and vehicles leaving the country (monitors vehicle condition to ensure maximum profit on resales)
Customer Relations :
# Physically receive customers at the depot (rental departures & service requests) and make vehicle inspections
# Receives incoming customer requests - rental requests
# Receives breakdown requests and actively prioritizes/plans actions to ensure service continuity and customer satisfaction
# Communicates proactively and closely with customers on their fleet follow-ups (breakdown requests, work carried out in the workshop, preventive actions undertaken/done)
Requirements:
# At least 5 years of experience is required in running a service/workshop/maintenance operation in the services industry
# A degree in technical or traffic engineering is good to have
# Native Hungarian, English language skills are an advantage
# Excellent problem solving, communicational and organizational skills
# Good leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate others
