Internal Accountant
📊 Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting functions of subsidiary entities, focusing on control systems, transaction processing, and policy implementation.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks and reconcile accounts, with specific attention to intercompany balances.
- Support the annual budgeting process.
- Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and prompt collection of accounts receivable.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations.
- Administer and prepare financial statements.
- Aid in the annual audit of group entities.
- Handle the preparation and monitoring of payments.
- Manage cash flow effectively.
- Prepare corporate tax returns and VAT returns.
- Report directly to the Head of Reporting.
🎓 Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BAC+3/4) or equivalent in accounting, finance, or economics.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
- Proficient in both oral and written communication in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (experience with ERP systems is advantageous).
- Possess flexibility, proactivity, and a positive, presentable demeanor with a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrated strong organizational abilities.
- High motivation to excel in a rapidly expanding, dynamic, and challenging work environment.
- Must hold a valid work permit for Hungary.
